Samphran Elephant Grounds and Zoo

On Petchkasem Road, just only 1 KM before reaching the Rose Garden you can visit another crocodile farm in Thailand called Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo. Set within landscaped gardens and ponds on the outskirts of Bangkok, this is the best place in Thailand to see elephants in action. The highlight of the place is elephant shows featuring everything from the re-enactment of an 18th-century Thai battle with soldiers (dressed in beautiful costumes) and armored elephants to circus-style antics, elephant round-up from jungles, training of baby elephant, elephant at work, elephant racing and elephant-polo matches. The 60-acre farm comprises a beautiful environment where many different wild animals and 10 thousands of crocodiles can be seen. You can also see spectacular crocodile wrestling show between crocodile and man (show of handling tropical reptiles skillfully), a small zoo and an orchid farm, fish park, take an elephant ride in the tropical garden and under water fall.

International Buffet restuarant also provided from 11.30 - 14.00 hrs.

      Magic Show 1:15 P.M., 3:00 P.M.
      Elephant Show 1:45 P.M., 3:30 P.M.
